When I heard that Gerald had passed, I thought back to the last time I saw and spoke with him. Maybe 6 months. As usual we talked about both of our passions, about our families and his retirement. He of course asked me when was I going to retire and I said probably never. To the family, Gerald touched thousands of lives and made an impact on everyone. I will remember him as a true friend, through thick and thin but most of all his love of Christ and his passion to help children succeed in life. RIP my friend, until we meet again.
