Life Story for Charles Morris White

Charles Morris  White
Mr. Charles Morris White, age 80, a resident of Cottonwood passed away Wednesday July 12, 2017 at SAMC.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Cottonwood City Cemetery with Rev. Jim Tate and Rev. John Smith officiating and Kendall Glover directing. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Memphis Baptist Church Building Fund, 4595 Eddins Road, Dothan, AL, 36301.
Mr. White was born on June 26, 1937 in Dothan, AL the son of the late John C. White and Addie Lee White. Mr. White was a 1955 graduate of Cottonwood High School and attended Chipola Jr. College. He retired as a civil service employee at Fort Rucker. Mr. White was a member of the American Pigeon Racing Club and the Elks Club. He coached pee-wee ball and served as a city council member. Mr. White was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Cottonwood where he served as a Deacon. He was a member of Memphis Baptist Church at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Cain White, Cottonwood, AL; 2 daughters, Charla (Larry) Beauchamp, Ashford, AL and Kelli (Jody) Hinson, Dallas, TX; brother, James Robert White, Pahoa, Hawaii; 5 grandchildren, Kyron and Kaden Hinson, Lauren, Emma and Caleb Beauchamp.
