Mrs. Evelyn Vaughn Hall, age 89, a resident of Gordon passed away on January 27, 2017.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Howard Grove Cemetery with Pastor Troy West officiating and Kendall Glover directing.

Mrs. Hall was born on September 20, 1927 in Jackson County, FL the daughter of Eddie B. Vaughn and Lillie Maude Hatcher Vaughn. She graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1945. Mrs. Hall retired as a nursing aid from SAMC. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Talmadge Hall; brother, Rufus Vaughn; sister, Edna Price.

Survivors include: daughter, Judy (Gerald) Snell, Gordon, AL; brother, Bobby (Sue) Vaughn, Tallahassee, FL; sister-in-law, Marie Vaughn, Jacksonville, FL; grandson, Jeremey Snell, Dothan, AL; grandson-in-law, Rodney Linebarger, Dothan, AL; great granddaughter, Nava Snell, Dothan, AL; several nieces and nephews.
