Mrs. Janice Darlene Nowning, age 56, a resident of Midland City passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Nowning was born on April 20, 1960 in Donalsonville, GA the daughter of Marion Lantice Smith and Avis Bruner Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marion Lantice Smith, son, Eric Nowning, and grandson, Dylan Driver.

Survivors include: daughters, Amanda Driver, Dothan, AL, Allison Eckles (Scott) Dothan, AL; four brothers, Roger Dale Smith, Avon, AL, Tony Smith (Melissa), Midland City, AL, Earnest Smith, Dothan, AL, Craig Smith, Chipley, FL; sister Elaine Williams, Dothan, AL; two grandchildren, Alexis Driver and Caden Eckles.
