Mr. Roger Dale Williams, age 68, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday November 17, 2016 at Flowers Hospital following a brief illness.

Mr. Williams wishes were to be cremated and a family memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church Cemetery, c/o Lamar Buxton, 7320 State Hwy. 10 East, Shorterville, AL. 36373.

Mr. Williams was born on September 9, 1948 in Henry County the son of Comer Lee Williams and Ila Vernon Owens Williams. He was retired from Colonial Bakery following over 20 years of service. Mr. Williams served in the Alabama National Guard and was an avid Alabama Football Fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra Jo Carden Williams; daughter, Carla Carroll; 5 brothers, Myrl, Robert, Curtis, Sam and John Williams; 4 sisters, Betty, Ann, Wilma and Jeanette.

Survivors include: sister, Jeretha Fondren, Slocomb; special niece, Tammy Green, Slocomb; several nieces and nephews.
