Mrs. Frances Carmene Emmanuel, age 77, of Dothan, died Thursday April 7, 2016 at her residence after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday April 11, 2016 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy West officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia F.W. Baptist Church Cemetery near Midland City with Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends at Glover Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Emmanuel was born on July 3, 1938. Mrs. Emmanuel was a homemaker and was of Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: husband of 33 years, Walter Franklin Emmanuel, Sr., Dothan; son, David Eugene Carden (Katie), McCalla; Diana C. Smith (Rozeallen), Walter Franklin Emmanuel, Jr.; Robert Eugene Emmanuel (Joann); John Edward Emmanuel (Lynn), 1 granddaughter, Bronwen Redding, Jennifer Pater, 1 brother, Doyle Bryson (Carol), 2 great-grandchildren, Dalton Carden & Ashlyn Easter; 13 step-grandchildren, 24 step-greatgrandchildren.
