Mr. Gordon Lee Wright, age 72, a resident of Dothan died early Monday, August 17, 2015 at his residence.

The family will be receiving friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Glover Funeral Home Parlor.

Mr. Wright was born on December 28, 1942 in New Lyme, OH. The son of Harold Bell Wright and Dorothy Louise Merritt. He has lived in the Dothan area since 1973 after he moved from Lewisburg, TN. He worked with the City of Dothan for 16 years as an Electrician, 15 years for Southern Plywood in Cedar Spring, Ga., and over 10 years with Montgomery Ward as Home Improvement Department Manager. Mr. Wright was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He also was Co- founder of the Toast Master of Dothan.

He was preceded in death by parents; brother; Dennis Wright.

Survivors include: wife of 50 years, Joanne Wright, Dothan, AL.; 2 sons, Craig Lee Wright (Marisol), Dothan, AL, and Brian Wright, Dothan, AL.; 3 daughters, Lisa Wright, Colorado Springs, CO., Michelle Wright Roderick ( Michael), Colorado Springs, CO., Megan Wright, Dothan, AL.; brother-in-law, Roy Hill, Dothan, AL.
