I remember the day I came to visit with Chris and Candice in tow. We were in the back yard playing and enjoying the beautiful weather. John had grown some very hot green peppers in his small garden that he was very proud of. He double dared Chris to take a nibble of one and when Chris bit into it his lips swelled up! John felt so bad for getting him to try it. We laughed at Chris and his big ole bubba lips for hours! We still laugh about it to this day.
