I am so sad to hear about Flora. She and Byrd were friends with my older brothers and sisters. We lived on Headland Ave. Some of the ones Byrd may remember are: Era and Vera (twins), Martha, Alec, Bill and Arnold Griffin. I had a half brother Coven Shivers and a half sister, Elizabeth (Liz) Shivers Baker. Those were fun times back then. May at comfort you to know old friends have fond memories of Flora.
