Mr. Spencer Robert Phelps, age 77, a resident of Dothan passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at SAMC.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dwain Tingle and Pastor Troy West officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.
The family will be receiving friends at Glover Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to services. Flowers will be accepted.
Mr. Phelps was born on May 14, 1940 in New York the son of the late Spencer Robert and Elizabeth Phelps. Spencer was the owner of Phelps Agency.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Esther Phelps.
Survivors include: a daughter Tricia Phelps, Dothan; a step-son, Frank DiPeri, Middletown, New York; a step-daughter Denise Bertolino, Poughkeepsie, New York; sister, Pam Salisbury, Yonkers, New York; niece, Paige Power and nephew, Kevin Bentley.
