Aron Eugene Dunn, age 16, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at SAMC.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Union Hill Baptist Church in Cottonwood, AL with Rev. Kyle Johnson and Mr. Cory Soloman officiating and Kendall Glover directing. Burial will follow at the Cottonwood City Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at Union Hill Baptist Church from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the services. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Glover Funeral Home to defray the funeral expenses.
Aron was born on January 22, 2001 in Stockbridge, GA. He formerly lived in High Falls, GA and moved to Dothan in 2012. He attended Cottonwood High School and would have been entering the 10th grade. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother and step-father Rebecca Lester and Michael Bull; two brothers Brayton Lester of Indianapolis, IN and William Blake Lester of Dothan, AL; grandmothers Betty Wengert of Cottonwood, AL and Julie Vaca of Indianapolis, IN; an uncle Adam Lester of Indianapolis, IN; and numerous friends.
Pallbearers will be Richard Hunter, William Blake Lester, Adam Lester, Brayton Lester, Taylor Duke, Sammie Bloodgood. Honorary pallbearers will be the Cottonwood High School 10th grade class.
