Mr. Jimmy P. Lawrence, age 69, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at SAMC.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Sam Crawford and Earl Sellers officiating and Kendall Glover directing.
The family will receive friends 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Glover Funeral Home prior to the services.
Jimmy was born on March 13, 1948 to the late Perry Leander and Charlotte Eileen Shank Lawrence. He attended Cottonwood High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy, having served three tours of duty in Viet Nam. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood.
Survivors include two sons Michael (Rachael) Lawrence and Derrick Lawrence all of Clearwater, FL; three brothers Steve (Kay) Lawrence of Jasper, GA, Larry (Cindy) Lawrence of Salem, AL, and Stanley (Susan) Lawrence of Dothan; two grandchildren; a very special friend and caretaker J. C. White and several nieces and nephews.
