Mrs. Betty Yohn Meadows, age 67, a resident of Dothan, passed away suddenly Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the SAMC.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday July 8, 2017 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel.

Family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. at Glover Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 255 Jerry Drive, Dothan, AL, 36303.

Mrs. Meadows was born on February 11, 1950 in Pensacola, Florida the daughter of Lee and Helen Sullivan Yohn. She graduated high school in Bricktown, N.J. Mrs. Meadows was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Meadows was a great lover of animals and will always be “Meme” to Jackson and Jordan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Tommy & Jimmy Yohn.

Survivors include: her husband of 49 years, David Michael Meadows, Sr., Dothan; daughter, Dana Marie Meadows, Dothan; son, David Michael Meadows, Jr. (Angie), Columbus, GA; 2 grandchildren, Jackson Meadows & Jordan Meadows, Harris Co., GA; 2 sisters, Suzie Weaver (Kennin), South Carolina; Candy Hawkins, Florida; 2 brothers, Billy Yohn (Carol), LaGrange, GA; Jesse Hawkins, Marianna, FL; sister-in-law, Melanie Webster; brother-in-law, Jim Meadows (Windy); niece, Christine Willis; nephews, Gary Meadows & Ja Meadows.
