Mr. Tom Tate Cooper, age 69, a resident of Dothan, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Tuskegee, Alabama, following an extended illness.

There will be no services at this time.

Mr. Cooper was born on December 19, 1947 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the son of Gaines and Maggie Rhoades Cooper. He was a retired long distance truck driver. He was of Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several of his brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: his wife, Nicole Cooper; two daughters, LeShawne and Tess Cooper; two grandchildren; and a sister, Norma Jean Curtiss.
