Mr. James Curtis Dansby, age 84, a resident of Midland City, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at his residence.

Memorial Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Phillip Durr officiating with Kendall Glover directing.

Mr. Dansby was born November 3, 1932 in Pike County the son of Tullis Dansby and Jessie Carter Dansby. He was an Electronic Technician with Saben Appliances, Tri-State Electronics and Dansby Electronics.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tullis Dansby and Jessie Carter Dansby, brother, Ray Dansby, sister, Dorothy Leatherwood Carroll.

Survivors include: wife, Tina L. Dansby, Midland City, AL; four daughters, Elizabeth Pearl Dansby, Brundidge, AL, Amy Dansby Baumgardner (Rusty), Spring, TX, Emily Gayle Marshall (Jeff), Blakely, GA, Alice Marie Dansby, Dothan, AL; two sons, James Douglas Dansby (Pat), Newnan, GA, Jackie Curtis Dansby (Jennifer), Midland City, AL; Twelve Grandchildren, Jennifer (Al), Melissa (Kevin), Kimberly (Aaron), Andrew, Alexis, Jud, Rylee, Clay, Jessica (Linc), Justin, Haley, and McKinley; Fourteen Great-Grandchildren, Megan, Matt, Aubrey, Austin, Mason, Brianna, Bella, Emma, Annabeth, John Lincoln, Clara and Baby Graham, Abigail, and Jacob.
