Life Story for Ann Barrick

Mrs. Ann Robbins Barrick went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, after a second battle with cancer. She was 69.

Graveside services only will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016, at
3:30 p.m. at Gardens of Memory Cemetery (Highway 431 North) with the Reverend David Green officiating and Kendall Glover directing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, AL 36111.

Ann was born May 25, 1947 in Covington County, AL. She retired from Regions Bank after thirty-plus years as a Vice President, Customer Service. She was a graduate of Geneva County High School Class of 1965 and, for the last several years, has enjoyed the monthly luncheons with the ’65 Girls. While spending most of her weekends at Compass Lake, Ann worshipped at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, where she was a member.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, O. A. (Pete) and Lois Northey Robbins and a sister-in-law, Jane Barrick Wright. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Barrick; mother-in-law, Elsbeth Barrick of Luverne, AL; daughters, Rhonda Scott Baker of Pike Road, AL, Joanne Barrick (John William) Penn, and Mary Beth Barrick (Brendan) Scott both of Dothan, AL; sons, Ronnie (Tammy) Scott of Pintlala, AL and Scott (April) Barrick of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Brett Baker, Mari-Beth Baker, Caitlyn Penn, Courtney Penn, Patrick Scott , Hayleigh Scott, Hannah Scott, Allie-Anne Barrick, Tatum Barrick, and Peyton Creel; brother, Bill (Patsy) Robbins of Ft. Walton, FL; brothers-in-law, Bill (Jessica) Barrick of Mobile, AL and Moody (Robin) Barrick of Sky Valley, GA; sister-in-law, Georgia (Jerry) Bush of Brantley, AL; lifelong friend, Nan (Jim Bob) Strickland of Dothan, AL. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Ann was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
