Mr. Gregory Paul McArdle, age 54, a resident of Ft. Deposit (formerly of Dothan) died Tuesday October 4, 2016 at Baptist Hospital South in Montgomery after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday October 8, 2016 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bruce Coker officiating. Burial will follow in the Memphis Baptist Church Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Glover Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. McArdle was born on July 4, 1962 in Donalsonville, Georgia the son of Barney Whitfield McArdle and Annie Merle Fowler McArdle. He worked for a number of years with McArdle Painting and for most of his adult lifetime he was a truck driver. Mr. McArdle was a member of Selma Baptist Church in Dothan.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: daughter, Callie McArdle Williams, Dothan; brother, Danny McArdle (Ruth), Cottonwood; special friend, Sheila McArdle, Dothan; 4 grandchildren, Whit, Dixie & Gregory McArdle and Adelia Williams.

Active pallbearers will be: Kevin Davis, Matthew Green, Scott Holmes, Michael Kimbro, Randy Adams & Andrew Adams.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren: Whit, Gregory & Dixie McArdle, Adelia Williams.
