Life Story for Emory "Pat" Paschall Prine

Mr. Emory Paschall (Pat) Prine, age 80, a resident of Slocomb, died Thursday July 28, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness with his family by his side.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday July 31, 2016 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Hosea Parker officiating and Kendall Glover directing. The family will be receiving friends from 1:15 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. Sunday prior to services at Glover Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, AL. 36303 or to one’s favorite charity.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. (EDT) Monday August 1, 2016 in the Carter Family Cemetery at Sardis Baptist Church in Lake Park, Georgia with Reverend Garvey Nichols officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Prine was born on October 9, 1935 in Statenville, Georgia the son of Byrd Clarence Prine and Myrtle Idelle Carter Prine. He was retired as a cable splicer contractor in the Telephone Industry following 54 years of service. Mr. Prine was a 1954 graduate of Waycross High School and was a member of Malvern Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Myra Bittick; infant brother, Byrd Floyd Prine; son-in-law, Jeff Lane and the mother of his children, Dorothy Ann Vaughn.

Survivors include: wife of 22 years, Nancy Prine, Slocomb; daughter, Debbie Lane, Dothan; 2 sons, Mike Prine (Debbie), Taylor; Randy Prine (Sonya), Slocomb; aunt, Evelyn Prine, Statenville, GA.; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren

Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Patrick Prine, Michael Prine, Jeremy Johnson, Dereck Chandler, Christopher Lane, and Brayden Roy.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Young Adult Sunday School Class at Malvern Baptist Church.
