Life Story for Lucille Riley Henderson Goff

Mrs. Lucille Riley Henderson Goff, age 90, a resident of Dothan, died Monday July 18, 2016 at the SAMC after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday July 21, 2016 in the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend’s John Baxter and Earl Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Hill Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Glover Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Denton Road United Methodist Church, 2410 Denton Road, Dothan, AL. 36303.

Mrs. Goff was born on September 22, 1925 in Houston County the daughter of Jeff Henderson and Delia Simmons Henderson. She was retired from Sunnyland as a meat processor and she was a member of the Denton Road United Methodist Church. Mrs. Goff received an upholstery degree from Wallace College.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husband’s, Louie Frank Riley & Jewett Carthell Goff; 2 sons, Jeffery Allen Goff and Carlos Wayne Riley; 2 sisters, Cassie Anderson & Myrtice Fails; brother, Franklin D. Simmons.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Jewett (Donny) Goff (Rebecca), Cowarts; William Goff (Kerri), Slocomb; sister, Lee Allen Aplin (Earl), Dothan; brother, Virgil Simmons, Plant City, FL.; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchilld.

Active pallbearers will be: Chad Goff, Brandon Goff, Clay Riley, Clint Riley, Caymon Moore and Cameron Moore.

Honorary pallbearer will be Anthony Goff.
