Mr. Billy Joe Young, age 79, a resident of Ozark died Saturday June 27, 2015 at his residence after an extended illness.

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan is in charge of cremation service and there will be no memorial service at this time.

Mr. Young was born on May 15, 1936 in Ozark the son of John Branch Young and Billie Herring Young. He owned and operated B.J. Young Enterprises for many years and moved back to Ozark after retirement. He had lived in Minnesota, Idaho and Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Holman.

Survivors include: two daughters, Melissa Simonton, Ozark; Beverly Horton, Pampa, Tx.; two sons, Jason Young, Ozark; Greg Young, Denver, Co.; brother, John Young, Ozark; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
