Robert “Bob” Lewis Swisher, age 57, a resident of Dothan, Alabama (formerly of the Canton Area) died early Monday, March 9,2015 at his residence.

A Celebration of his life will be held at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11 am.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, March 13, 2015 and one hour prior to the funeral service. Donations in memory of Bob can be made to Pathway Caring for Childern of Canton OH.

Bob was born on February 5, 1958 in Massillon, OH. the son of the late George and Betty Swisher. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 13 years, and later owned several successful businesses. He was a board member of Pathway Caring for Children of Canton, OH.

Survivors include: wife, Renee Swisher, Dothan, AL.; daughter, Abigail Elardo (Patrick) Parma, OH.; son, Abraham Swisher (Lisandra), Dothan, AL.; sister, Sally Swisher, Narvarre, OH.; brother, John Swisher, Massillon, OH., Eula Drake and family as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; and his brother, George Swisher Jr.
