Mr. William Albert Bush, age 92, a resident of Dothan, AL. (formerly of Oak Ridge, TN.) died Sunday November 23, 2014 at Flowers Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday November 26, 2014 at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity with Father Peter Wong officiating and Kendall Glover directing.
A Reception will be held in the church parish hall following the services. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions to the Outreach Ministry c/o Episcopal Church of the Nativity, 205 Holly Lane, Dothan, AL. 36301 or to one’s favorite charity.
Mr. Bush was born on May 5, 1922 in Muskegon, Michigan the son of William Bush and Nell Francis Perry Bush. Mr. Bush was an Auburn University Graduate and was a member of the Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma. He served in the Army Air Corps as a instructor pilot at Napier Field and later served in Transport Air Command during WW II.
Mr. Bush was Retired from Union Carbide & the Department of Energy as a design Engineer. He also authored two books on Reactor technology and served on the President’s committee on Nuclear Standards Management.
In Oak Ridge he was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Oak Ridge Country Club and served as exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge.

He enjoyed golf as a member of the Hackers Golf group at the Dothan Country Club.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marjorie May Bush, Dothan, AL.; daughters, Susanne (Tom Chance), Starla Allgood, Sandra Bush, all of Dothan; 1 sister, Jacqueline Donovan, Kalamazoo, MI.; 4 grandchildren, Matt Allgood, Jennifer Yearout (Mike), Trey Cardwell (Michelle) and William Albert Cardwell; 7 great-grandchildren, Dylan & Jerrid Allgood, Avery, Riley & Davis Yearout, Nicholas & Courtney Cardwell; 5 nieces & nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Edward Bush; son-in-law, Douglas Allgood.
